Please remember that students should not arrive earlier than 8:45 AM due to a lack of adult supervision on the playground. If you need assistance with child care, contact the school about Safekey.

The first bell sounds at 8:55 AM. At this time students line up at their designated place for the morning ceremony

Morning ceremony consists of Pledge of Allegiance, 30-Seconds of Silence, and school announcements

All classes start promptly at 9:00.

All students should be picked up no later than 3:15 P.M.

If you are unable to do so, you might consider registering your child for SAFEKEY.
ABSENCES

If your child is going to be absent from school, please fill out the online Report Student Absent form online or provide a written note to the office explaining the reason for your child's absence. If you do not complete the online form, a written excuse must accompany your student upon return to school.

CCSD Policy no longer allows us to excuse students' absences over the phone or through verbal communication. The ParentLink messaging system will call you on any unverified absences.
Per CCSD Guidlines
1. An elementary student shall be recorded as absent for half of the day if more than one hour and fifty-five minutes of the instructional day are missed and recorded as absent for the entire day if more than three hours and forty-five minutes of the instructional day are missed.
2. All the arranged absences in excess of ten (10) during a school year shall be considered unapproved. All arranged absences for which the makeup work was not completed and submitted as specified by the teacher shall be considered unapproved.
CAFETERIA
Breakfast and hot lunches are offered at no cost to families. Students who bring their own lunch to school may purchase milk from the cafeteria for $.25 if they chose to do so.
